Winn Communities is involved in thousands of acres of master planned communities throughout Northern California and Nevada. The company brings a rich blend of home building experience, large-scale master planning, and commercial development to its communities. Design and implementation of its master plans are carried out with the primary goal of creating livable communities of enduring value. Master plan implementation often includes construction of major infrastructure, roadways, schools, parks, and community amenities such as large-scale recreation centers and open space preserves.
Commercial real estate
Winn Communities has developed 13 retail shopping centers in the greater Sacramento area and Nevada, most in partnership with Donahue Schriber. These developments are credit anchored, high quality centers featuring stores such as Raley's, Safeway, and Kohl's.
The company owns various office buildings in the Sacramento area, including its headquarter office on I Street in East Sacramento. Many of their multi-tenant buildings are owned in partnership with locally-based Ridge Capital.
Since 2010, Winn Communities has purchased and built approximately 1,000 single-family homes. Through its local management partners, the company rents more than 250 homes in the Sacramento and Reno markets:
Senior Care Facilities
Winn Communities owns two assisted living / memory care facilities in the greater Sacramento area in partnership with Frontier Management. These facilities provide a range of services to their residents, ensuring individualized care and active lifestyles.
